Tom serves as Of Counsel in the firm’s Real Estate Development & Finance Group. He represents clients (primarily developers) in connection with the acquisition, development, financing, sale and leasing of commercial real estate.
 
For ten years Tom was a member of the Executive Council of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar, and was chairman of the Committee on Legal Opinions of the Section from 1990 to 1998. 

Tom is a former chairman of the firm’s finance/management committee, a former director of the Bay Area Legal Services Development Council, a former vice chairman of the board of directors of LifePath Hospice, a former executive vice president/general counsel of LifePath Hospice, a former director and president of The Tampa Club, and a former chairman of a community development district in Hillsborough County. He currently serves as a director of the USF Research Foundation.
