The firm actively pursues minority and female candidates by working with law school placement offices and local contacts including lawyers, judges, and business professionals. Hill Ward Henderson participates in minority job fairs and seeks out participating roles in minority and female centric events in our community.
The firm understands that retaining top diverse talent is as important as recruiting. Accordingly, the firm consistently appraises the often unique issues facing diverse attorneys and provides support where it can. Resources such as additional mentors and in-house maternity leave coaches help diverse lawyers through challenging points in their careers.
A vital source of support for women lawyers is our Women’s Networking Group (“WNG”). The WNG provides female lawyers with the time and resources to meet and network with each other about the unique issues facing them as women in the legal industry.
