Overview

Katherine Frazier's practice focuses on various types of commercial transactions in both the real property and business areas. Katherine represents local, regional, and national clients in connection with their commercial transactions here in Florida, including, but not limited to, land acquisition and development, entity formation, leasing, financing, survey, and title insurance matters. 

She has actively represented automobile dealerships, with a particular emphasis on dealership acquisitions and dispositions and related real property transactions. Katherine has represented a NYSE dealership group in multiple portfolio acquisitions over the years, including a portfolio of over 70 dealership properties. 

She currently serves as Chair of the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar, and she has served on the Executive Committee of the Section since 2013. She has been an active member of the Executive Council of the Section since 2004. 

In 2012, Katherine was appointed by Governor Rick Scott to serve as a Board Member of the Florida Transportation Commission. Duties of the Commission include review of major transportation policy initiatives submitted by the Department and making recommendations for major transportation policy to the Governor and Legislature.

In 2015, she was selected as a finalist for the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Business Woman of the Year Award.  Katherine was also awarded the Berkeley Preparatory Alumni Association 2015 Alumni Service Award. 

As a fourth generation Tampa attorney and third generation Florida native, Katherine is active in several local civic, charitable, and social organizations. She is a member of the Foundation Board of Directors of the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute. Additionally, she serves as the Foundation’s co-chair for the Foundation Partners Committee. Katherine is a past president of the Board of Trustees of the Henry B. Plant Museum and a past president of the Board of Directors for Champions for Children (formerly known as The Child Abuse Council).
