Robert Shimberg Elected to Board Chair of Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay

Hill Ward Henderson is pleased to announce the election of shareholder Robert Shimberg as board chair of Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay (JATB) for a two-year term. Shimberg has served on JATB’s Board of Directors since 2022 and most recently led its national CEO search committee.

Founded in 1965 and serving 13 counties including the entire Tampa Bay area, Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization empowering the futures of local students through experiential, career-connected learning, and meaningful public-private partnerships.

Shimberg has extensive experience in the areas of commercial litigation, corporate compliance, cybersecurity, crisis management, governmental relations and corporate investigations and representing clients under investigation by local and state administrative, regulatory, and criminal agencies. He was formerly a prosecutor with the Hillsborough County State Attorney's Office.

Active in the community, Shimberg is on the board of directors for Meals on Wheels and More Health, Inc. He previously served as board chair of Metropolitan Ministries and the Tampa Housing Authority.
