Overview
Joshua Wendt is an associate in the firm’s Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation group.
He earned both his J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he gained practical experience as a clinician in the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic. During law school, Joshua also served as a judicial extern for The Honorable Norma S. Lindsey of the Florida Third District Court of Appeal and The Honorable Kristine Van Vorst of the Eighth Judicial Circuit of Florida.
Before joining the firm, Joshua served as a General Attorney with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel in Washington, D.C. In that role, he worked on Private Letter Rulings, provided litigation support to field attorneys, and reviewed and contributed to official IRS publications.
Outside the office, Joshua enjoys spending time with his wife, Carmen, cheering on the Florida Gators, and reading.
