Hill Ward Henderson Attorney Named Outstanding Young Lawyer Of The Year

Hill Ward Henderson attorney Jeffery J. Wilcox was recently named Outstanding Young Lawyer of the Year by the Hillsborough County Bar Association in recognition of his work and efforts in the Bar over the past year. The Hillsborough County Bar Association Outstanding Young Lawyer Award was established to recognize an attorney that has been in practice for five years or less, or is under the age of 36, and is recognized as exemplary in the area of professionalism and in the practice of law in his or her field of practice. The recipient has also performed service to the community on a personal level and has been actively involved in the Hillsborough County Bar Association Young Lawyer Division. The award is intended to be a major recognition of an attorney who has made a difference in the practice of law and the community because of their ethics and conduct.

Mr. Wilcox is an Associate in the firm’s Litigation Group. His practice primarily focuses on employment law, including wage-hour compliance, FMLA and ADA compliance, allegations of discrimination and harassment, non-compete litigation, and handbook and policy drafting. Mr. Wilcox is active in both professional and Bar-related activities.  He currently serves as a Director on the Hillsborough County Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division Board, and is a member of the Employment and Labor Law Committee in the Defense Research Institute.
