American Bar Association Reappoints Hill Ward Henderson Shareholder As Chair Of The Leasing Group Of The Real Property, Probate, Trust & Estate Law Section

Scott W. Dibbs, Shareholder at Hill Ward Henderson, was recently reappointed to serve as Chair of the Leasing Group of the Real Property, Probate, Trust & Estate Law Section (RPTE) of the American Bar Association (ABA). The RPTE Section of the ABA is a diverse community of nearly 22,000 U.S. and international lawyers, paralegals, real estate and financial services professionals, law students and legal educators. This section provides leadership and subject matter expertise on current regulatory and legal issues, trends and best practices with the singular goal of empowering members to better serve clients. 

The Leasing Group is an ensemble of six substantive leasing Committees: Retail Leasing, Office Leasing, Industrial and Warehouse Leasing, Ground Leasing, Emerging Issues and Specialty Leases, and Assignment and Subletting. The goal of the Leasing Group is to keep members apprised of current legal issues in the leasing community and to communicate the variety of responses to leasing issues. 

Mr. Dibbs leads Hill Ward Henderson’s Commercial Leasing Group and is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Group and Corporate and Tax Group. His real estate practice primarily focuses on commercial leasing, and he has extensive experience representing national and regional landlords and tenants in a wide range of office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use lease transactions.  Mr. Dibbs previously served as Vice Chair of the Leasing Group and Chair of the Office Leasing Committee.
