8.18.23

The paralegal will perform a wide variety of tasks which includes providing a high level of customer service and support, while consistently producing an excellent work product. The paralegal maintains general knowledge of the Litigation practice groups and a specialized knowledge of the assigned attorneys’ practice area(s) and clients in order to ensure extraordinary client satisfaction. 

 Requirements:

  • Three to five years of substantive experience in defense personal injury, products liability and/or medical malpractice
  • Previous experience with subpoenaing medical records and preparing medical chronologies
  • Experience with scheduling
  • Previous trial experience
  • Knowledge of Federal and State court rules
  • Previous experience tracking and recording billable hours
  • Experience with legal software desired (i.e. Xera, Relativity) 
  • Solid computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Candidates must also have strong written and verbal communication skills, client-oriented focus, professional demeanor, initiative, analytical thinking and attention to detail.
