Allison E. Campbell - Shareholder

Allison is a Shareholder in the firm’s Real Estate Group. She focuses her practice on real property transactions, with an emphasis on acquisitions, dispositions, financing, restructuring, development, and strategic transfers of commercial real estate.

Representative clients include privately- and publicly-held business entities, local and national developers, institutional lenders, and real estate investment trusts.

As a trusted advisor to clients on all phases of acquiring, financing, developing, and selling commercial real estate, Allison negotiates and prepares transaction documents, analyzes property diligence, and closes transactions involving retail, office, hotel, golf course, and vacant properties. She is often a speaker for the Florida Bar, instructing young attorneys on how to structure and execute a successful real estate purchase and sale transaction.

Allison frequently serves as local Florida counsel on real property lending transactions, teaming up with out-of-state attorneys to issue opinion letters and offer guidance to borrower and lender clients on Florida mortgage taxes, including the structure of complex and multi-state loan facilities in order to properly minimize tax liability. Her extensive experience with Florida’s documentary stamp tax and intangible tax laws also benefits buyers and sellers of commercial real estate who seek to properly minimize transfer taxes on commercial real estate transactions.

Allison is a member of the Bar in the states of Florida and New York. She is affiliated with the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Allison serves on the Steering Committee for the ABA Committee on Legal Opinions in Real Estate Transactions.

As an active member of the Tampa community, Allison has served on the Board of Directors for Feeding Tampa Bay and is a member of The Junior League of Tampa and the Mary Lee’s House Auxiliary.

Allison received her B.S., cum laude, from Duke University, and her J.D. from Duke University School of Law, where she served as Articles Editor for the Duke Law Journal. She calls Cameron Indoor Stadium her second home – and wishes that were true.

Outside of the office, Allison enjoys Duke basketball, traveling, and spending time outdoors with her family.
