Sean P. Mullen - Associate

Sean is an associate in the firm’s litigation group. His practice focuses primarily on general and complex commercial litigation.

Prior to and during law school, Sean served 14 years on active duty and an additional 6 years on reserve duty in the United States Marine Corps, retiring shortly before joining the firm. 

Sean graduated from the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg, with a B.A. in Political Science, summa cum laude. Upon graduation, he was awarded the King O’Neil Scholar Award for graduating with an overall G.P.A. of 4.0. Sean went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude and upon graduation received the Roberta Flowers Ethics and Advocacy Award. 

During law school, Sean served as Articles & Symposia Editor of the Stetson Law Review. He was the recipient of the Stetson Law Review Leadership Award and is a published author in the Stetson Law Review, Volume 50, Issue 1. Sean also competed as an advocate on Stetson’s Moot Court Board. His accomplishments included winning the 2019 National Veterans Law Moot Court Competition and being selected to the national Order of Barristers.

In addition, he served as a Teaching Assistant to two criminal law classes, one property law class, and three research & writing classes. 

Outside of the office, Sean enjoys playing basketball, umpiring high school baseball, spending time with his family, following the University of Florida athletics, and cheering on all of Tampa Bay’s sports teams.
