Trae is an Associate in the firm’s Litigation Group. His practice primarily involves representing property owners in Florida whose properties have been valued in excess of its fair market value. Trae also assists businesses in in procurement matters and bid protests and was previously involved in representing major tobacco companies in individual smoking and health litigation. While attending the University of Florida Levin College of Law, Trae was a member of the trial team. He competed in several national competitions across the country and was a 2011 National Trial Advocacy Competition finalist. As part of his Honors Thesis at the University of South Florida, Trae worked with Judge Raymond Gross to analyze and recommend changes to the Florida Rules of Juvenile Procedure. His thesis was eventually submitted to the Florida Supreme Court as part of the Sixth Circuit’s comments in support of the 2009 Petition to Amend the Florida Rules of Juvenile Procedure. Outside of the office, Trae enjoys spending time with family and friends. He actively participates in sports, including golf and basketball, and is an avid Florida Gators fan.
