Hill Ward Henderson is proud to announce that shareholder Andriy Lytvyn has been reappointed to The Florida Bar’s Intellectual Property Law Certification Committee for a second consecutive three-year term, running July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029.

Certification committees review and evaluate certification and recertification applications in accordance with area standards and recommend approval or denial to the Board of Legal Specialization and Education (BLSE). They also prepare and grade area examinations, propose amendments to rules governing their respective practice areas, and help increase awareness of board certification through interaction with Bar sections, substantive law committees, the courts, and the public.

“It is a privilege to continue serving on the Intellectual Property Law Certification Committee,” said Lytvyn. “I am grateful to The Florida Bar for the trust placed in me to help shape the credential that defines specialization in our field.”

Lytvyn is a registered patent attorney with more than 15 years of U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) practice experience and one of only 132 Florida attorneys to hold Board Certification in Intellectual Property Law. His practice spans patent and trademark prosecution, federal IP litigation, post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) and Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), as well as IP aspects of corporate and M&A transactions.

His appellate work includes two precedential decisions from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Lytvyn also serves as Co-Chair of the Hillsborough County Bar Association's IP Section, a role he has held since 2022.
