Hill Ward Henderson is pleased to announce that attorneys Evan Dix and Josh Wendt have been appointed to serve on committees of The Florida Bar, reflecting their ongoing commitment to professional service and leadership within the Florida legal community.

Dix has been appointed to serve on The Florida Bar’s Appellate Court Rules Committee, effective July 1, 2026. The committee plays a key role in reviewing and recommending rules governing appellate practice in Florida, helping to ensure clarity, consistency, and fairness in the state’s appellate court system. Dix focuses his practice on appeals and trial support in civil cases. Having previously served as a judicial law clerk for Florida’s Second District Court of Appeal, he brings valuable perspective on the appellate process to the clients he represents.

Wendt has been appointed to serve on The Florida Bar’s Member Benefits Committee, also effective July 1, 2026. The committee evaluates and supports programs and services designed to enhance value for members of The Florida Bar and strengthen engagement across the profession. Wendt is an associate in the firm’s Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Group. Before joining the firm, Wendt served as a general attorney with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel in Washington, D.C.
