Hill Ward Henderson is pleased to announce that attorneys Anisha Patel and Gabby Lozano have been appointed to serve on committees of The Florida Bar, reflecting their ongoing commitment to professional service and leadership within the Florida legal community.
Patel has been appointed to serve as co-chair of The Florida Bar's 2027 Annual Convention Committee, effective July 1, 2026. As co-chair, Patel will help lead the planning and execution of The Florida Bar's Annual Convention, one of the organization's premier events that brings together attorneys, judges, and legal professionals from across the state for educational programming, networking opportunities, and Bar governance activities.
As a shareholder in Hill Ward Henderson’s litigation group, Patel represents individuals and businesses in a variety of disputes, including professional liability and insurance coverage matters. Patel has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to the legal profession through her active involvement in The Florida Bar including as past president of The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division.
Lozano has been appointed to serve on The Florida Bar’s Student Education and Admission to the Bar Committee, also effective July 1, 2026. The committee evaluates whether Florida law schools are adequately preparing students for the practice of law, makes recommendations to The Florida Bar’s Board of Governors and law school deans, and monitors issues affecting legal education and bar admission.
As an associate in Hill Ward Henderson’s corporate and tax group, Lozano represents clients in a wide range of corporate and transactional matters, including securities and capital markets, fund formation, investment management, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance.
