Sharon serves as a Paralegal in the Real Estate Litigation and Commercial Litigation Groups. She is responsible for preparing pleadings, propounding and responding to discovery, conducting research, document management and preparing the attorneys for depositions, hearings, mediations and trial.
Sharon graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. A former property/casualty claim adjuster for the states of Connecticut and Florida, Sharon also holds a Certificate in General Insurance from the Insurance Institute of America and has been designated a Legal Principles Claim Specialist by the American Educational Institute, Inc. During her tenure as a property/casualty claim adjuster, she received numerous awards for Individual Performance, Exceptional Customer Service and Excellence in Fraud Detection.
Originally from Wethersfield, Connecticut, Sharon moved to Clearwater in May of 1996. With over twenty years of experience as a litigation paralegal in the practice areas of Real Estate Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Bad Faith Claims, Product Liability, Personal Injury, Wrongful Death and Construction Litigation, Sharon is proficient in preparing attorneys for litigation in Florida’s state and federal courts. Sharon has been a Florida Registered Paralegal since August 2011 and continues to fulfill those requirements as set forth by the Supreme Court of Florida.
Outside the office, Sharon enjoys riding motorcycles with her husband, spending time with their twin daughters, reading (especially on the beach) and biking. She also enjoys volunteering frequently at their daughters’ school in Pinellas County.
