Overview

Matthew Evans serves as a counselor to affluent families, professionals, and business owners who seek to safeguard and facilitate the transfer of wealth in a comprehensive and tax efficient manner. Matthew carefully navigates clients through an increasingly complex and dynamic planning environment with an individualized, deliberative approach that is premised on the understanding that each client’s goals are unique. Embracing a holistic and team-oriented approach, Matthew works closely with family members, key individuals, and other trusted professional advisors to design and implement strategies that appropriately balance the full range of each client’s lifetime and testamentary objectives. 

Matthew’s practice focuses on multi-generational wealth and transfer tax planning, including income, gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer taxation, as well as business succession and charitable planning.  Matthew also represents fiduciaries in a variety of trust and estate administration matters, including the preparation of federal estate tax returns.

A seventh generation Floridian and graduate of Jesuit High School, Matthew resides in South Tampa with his wife and two children.
