Overview

Construction projects commonly involve numerous parties and contracts, often resulting in competing interests and disputes as to obligations of owners, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and materialmen, design professionals, and others. Although our primary goal is to assist clients in avoiding disputes, disputes can arise at any point during or after design and construction of a project, and our team is trained and skilled in aggressively pursuing and defending all types of claims.

For more than 35 years, Hill Ward Henderson’s Construction and Design attorneys have represented clients in construction and design disputes and lawsuits. Our experience includes large, multi-party commercial and construction litigation in both state and federal courts, as well as mediations, complex arbitration matters, and administrative proceedings. We frequently handle matters involving construction defect claims, contract disputes, project delays and schedule acceleration issues, construction or mechanic’s lien claims, insurance and bond claims, and products liability. We have handled cases throughout Florida for design-build firms, architects and engineers, including the defense of claims asserted by developers, government agencies, condominium associations and homeowners' associations.
