Connolly C. McArthur Joins Hill Ward Henderson

Connolly C. McArthur joins Hill Ward Henderson as a Senior Counsel in the firm’s Litigation Group. Ms. McArthur’s practice primarily focuses on the defense of long-term care communities, including assisted living facility and nursing home claims, and premises liability defense. 

Ms. McArthur has extensive experience in drafting and enforcing arbitration agreements for Long-Term Care communities. She has also authored numerous successful appeals in this area of the law, including Tandem Health Care v. Whitney, Alterra Healthcare v. Linton, Alterra Healthcare v. Bryant, and Himmelmann v. Alterra Healthcare. Ms. McArthur also represents medical professionals in claims made by their patients and the Department of Health, and has experience in Creditors' Rights law. 

Ms. McArthur earned her Juris Doctor degree with honors from the University of Florida, College of Law in 1996, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif.  Prior to that, Ms. McArthur attended the University of Southern Mississippi, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Business Administration in 1986, and her Master of Business Administration degree in 1987. 

Prior to joining Hill Ward Henderson, Ms. McArthur was a founding partner at Fudge & McArthur, PA., where her practice focused on Long-term Care and Premises Liability for Defense Litigation. Ms. McArthur also served as Managing Partner for all aspects of Human Resources at Fudge & McArthur, PA.
