Shareholder Morris C. Massey Elected President of The Humane Society of Tampa Bay

Hill Ward Henderson is proud to announce that shareholder Morris C. Massey has been elected president of The Humane Society of Tampa Bay’s Board of Directors.

The Humane Society of Tampa Bay is governed by their Board of Directors, whose members are elected in January and serve on the board for a three-year term. Mr. Massey has been actively involved with The Humane Society of Tampa Bay’s Board for several years providing legal counsel.  In his role, Mr. Massey supports The Humane Society of Tampa Bay’s mission of being dedicated to ending animal homelessness and providing care and comfort for companion animals in need.

Mr. Massey is a shareholder in Hill Ward Henderson’s Land Use and Real Estate Groups. Prior to joining the firm in 2006, Mr. Massey served as the Senior Chief Assistant City Attorney for the City of Tampa for three years, and prior to that was part of the City Attorney's Office for five years. During his tenure, Mr. Massey gained extensive experience in the areas of land use, zoning, comprehensive planning, governmental permitting, subdivisions, governmental contracts, impact fees, sign issues, concurrency,
