Governor Appoints Hill Ward Henderson Shareholder to the Construction Industry Licensing Board

Ben Dachepalli, a Shareholder at Hill Ward Henderson, was recently appointed by Governor Rick Scott to the Construction Industry Licensing Board for a two-month term, at which time he will be eligible for re-appointment to a four-year term. The Construction Industry Licensing Board is responsible for licensing and regulating the construction industry. The board meets regularly to consider application for licensure, to review disciplinary cases, and to conduct informal hearings relating to licensure and discipline in Florida. The board engages in rulemaking to implement the provisions set forth in its statues and conducts other general business.

Mr. Dachepalli is a part of Hill Ward Henderson’s Construction Law Group. As a Board Certified Construction Attorney, his practice primarily involves complex construction litigation claims involving contracts, construction defects, design errors, and construction liens. Mr. Dachepalli represents owners, developers, contractors, construction managers, design professionals and subcontractors in all phases of the construction process.
