Hill Ward Henderson is proud to announce that it has bestowed its 2012 Community Scholarship award to Molly Harry of H.B. Plant High School. Ms. Harry was awarded $10,000 based on her academic record, strong character and commitment to her school and the community at large. Ms. Harry has been involved with the La Sertoa service club as president and volunteering for community organizations. She has been a youth mentor, camp counselor and coach for a youth basketball and girls running club. In addition to helping others she has been active in track, basketball, yearbook, Beta Club and National Honor Society while maintaining a 6.6 grade point average. Ms. Harry plans to attend University of Florida in the fall.
Hill Ward Henderson’s 2012 Community Scholarship started in 2006 to commemorate the firm’s 20th anniversary. The scholarship is sustained by the generosity of the firm’s attorneys, employees and friends. Over the past six years, Hill Ward Henderson has awarded ten scholarships to Bay Area students.
