On March 14th, Melanie J. Hancock, an Attorney with Hill Ward Henderson, presented on “What Employers Need to Do to Be Prepared for Healthcare Changes in 2014” during a Webinar in collaboration with Alltrust Insurance. In her presentation, Ms. Hancock discussed the changing face of health coverage in America with the introduction of state and federal exchanges and an individual mandate and employer mandate regarding health coverage. The webinar outlined what employers need to do to comply with the upcoming employer “pay or play penalty” mandate of healthcare reform, and how the law will affect the future healthcare offerings to employees.
Ms. Hancock serves as Senior Counsel in the firm’s Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits Group. She practices in the area of ERISA, employee benefits and executive compensation.
