Brett J. Preston, Shareholder at Hill Ward Henderson, was recently accepted for membership in the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC), an invitation-only association for lawyers and insurance executives who represent corporate and insurance interests around the world. Founded in 1920, IACD provides resources to its members in addition to taking leadership roles in many areas of legal reform and professional development.
Mr. Preston is a Shareholder in Hill Ward Henderson’s Litigation Group and he also serves as the firm’s General Counsel. Although his practice emphasizes the defense of professional malpractice; life, health, and disability insurance; and ERISA cases, Mr. Preston also represents clients involved in commercial disputes and defendants in serious personal injury and product liability cases.
Mr. Preston’s professional undertakings include, among many others, active membership in the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, where he serves as a Senior Director on its Board of Directors and Conference Chair for its 2018 Winter Meeting. He also recently completed his tenure as Program Chair for the FDCC’s 2016 Annual Meeting and Chair of its Ethics and Professionalism Committee, Law Firm Management Section, and Life, Health and Disability Section.
