Hill Ward Henderson Strengthens its Trusts and Estates Group with the Addition of Two New Attorneys

Hill Ward Henderson is pleased to welcome Tara Rao Bild as Senior Counsel, and Nicholas C. Wigelsworth as an associate in the firm’s Trusts and Estates Group.

 Tara Rao focuses her practice on estate planning and probate and trust administration.  Prior to joining Hill Ward Henderson, Rao worked at law firms in Washington, D.C. and Tampa, Florida.  Rao was also the principal of The Rao Law Firm, P.L. in Tampa for many years where she practiced in the areas of estate planning, probate and trust administration, guardianship, and business planning. 

She was one of four fellows of The Florida Bar’s Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section in 2016, and served on the Executive Council.  She was in the inaugural class and is a graduate of the Florida Fellows Institute of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. Rao regularly presents and publishes on a variety of topics related to estate planning, estate and trust administration, guardianship, related ethical considerations, elder abuse, and exploitation. Rao received her J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, and her LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law. 

Wigelsworth focuses his practice primarily in the areas of estate planning, wealth and family business succession planning, transfer tax planning, gift and estate tax planning, asset protection, probate and trust administration.

Prior to joining the firm, Wigelsworth worked in the Orlando, Florida office of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP, where he focused on estate planning, asset protection and estate administration. Wigelsworth received his J.D. cum laude and his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
