Hill Ward Henderson Founding Shareholders, Benjamin H. Hill, III and Thomas N. Henderson, as well as President and Managing Shareholder, R. James “Jim” Robbins, Jr., and Shareholder, Shane Costello, joined with Mayor Jane Castor and leaders from Tampa General Hospital and the City of Tampa to cut the ribbon on the new exercise equipment installed along Bayshore Fitness Trail.  The event took place the morning of Friday, March 15, 2024 on the Trail.

“Hill Ward Henderson is pleased to be joining with the City of Tampa and Tampa General Hospital in support of this wellness and recreation initiative, and to upgrade and restore the Bayshore Fitness Trail.” said R. James “Jim” Robbins, Jr. “We are very proud to be a part of this effort along Tampa’s signature landmark for all to use and enjoy for years to come.”

Hill Ward Henderson initially provided funding for the Bayshore Fitness Trail in 2013, to replace the Bayshore’s aging exercise equipment and establish the Trail. The upgrades highlighted today include brand new fitness equipment and new exercise areas. New signage welcomes residents and visitors to the Trail, with QR codes featured on the signs to connect users to a series of videos that offer step-by-step exercises. This revitalization project was made possible by TampaWell, an initiative from Tampa General Hospital, in partnership with the City of Tampa Parks and Recreation Division, with funding provided by Hill Ward Henderson.
