Derrick Calandra serves as a Paralegal in the firm’s Construction and Design Group. He works with legal teams that represents developers, government agencies, architects, engineers, design-build firms, homebuilders, construction managers, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers. Derrick is responsible for management of complex construction litigation files, including discovery, expert witness preparation and maintenance of large scale documentation.
Derrick graduated from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln in 1994 with a bachelors degree in psychology. He is originally from Lincoln, Nebraska and has enjoyed living in Florida for the past 20 years.
Prior to joining Hill Ward Henderson, Derrick worked as a paralegal for another law firm in Tampa. He has nineteen years experience in his profession.
Active in the community, Derrick serves as a volunteer with a local art gallery, Studio@620, in St. Petersburg.
