Allison Stevenson, an attorney at Hill Ward Henderson, received the Virginia S. Mueller Outstanding Member Award by the National Association of Women Lawyers (NAWL). She was presented the award on July 20, 2023 at NAWL’s annual meeting.
NAWL’s Virginia S. Mueller Award is presented to members who have made exemplary contributions to the organization. NAWL’s mission is to provide leadership, a collective voice, and essential resources to advance women in the legal profession and advocate for the equality of women under the law. Since 1899, NAWL has been empowering women in the legal profession, cultivating a diverse membership dedicated to equality, mutual support, and collective success.
Stevenson is an associate in the firm's litigation group. Her practice primarily involves representing product manufacturers against claims for personal injuries, wrongful death, false or unfair marketing, and trade libel. Her academic research is devoted to issues involving pay equality and workplace diversity. She chairs NAWL’s Advocacy Committee, and has published and contributed to works centered on reducing the disparity in pay and mentorship among genders and ethnicities in a wide array of professions.
