Hill Ward Henderson Shareholder Reappointed by Governor

Hill Ward Henderson Shareholder Ed Armstrong was recently reappointed by Governor Rick Scott to the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SFWMD). The appointment is for a term ending March 1, 2018 and is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate. SFWMD encompasses roughly 10,000 square miles in all or part of 16 counties and serves a population of 4.7 million people. Its mission is to manage water and related natural resources to ensure their continued availability while maximizing the benefits to the public. Its goal is to maintaining the balance between the water needs of current and future users while protecting and maintaining water and related natural resources which provide the District with its existing and future water supply.

Mr. Armstrong is the Co-Chair of the firm’s Land Use Group for Pinellas County. With three decades of experience, he has obtained approval for many of the most complex development projects in Pinellas County.  He also represents several high-profile clients who have significant interactions with local governments.
