John C. Connery Jr. Elected To Serve On ACG's Executive Committee

Hill Ward Henderson is proud to announce that shareholder John C. Connery Jr. has been elected to serve on the Executive Committee for the Association for Corporate Growth’s (ACG) Global Board of Directors. Mr. Connery will serve a one-year term on the Executive Committee commencing on September 1, 2018.

In addition to serving on the Executive Committee, Mr. Connery will continue his role as Chapter Representative Director for ACG Tampa Bay. Mr. Connery has been involved with ACG for several years, having held various positions throughout the organization as president and member of the Board of Directors of ACG Tampa Bay, and co-chair of ACG Florida’s 2014 Capital Connection.

Founded in 1954, ACG has 59 chapters worldwide representing 14,500 members and serving 90,000 investors, executives, lenders and advisers to growing middle-market companies to drive middle-market growth.

Mr. Connery is a shareholder and the practice co-chair of the firm’s Corporate & Tax Group.  He has a diverse transactional practice, with an emphasis on advising family offices, venture capital funds, companies, angel investors and private equity funds and their portfolio companies on structuring and negotiating complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, growth capital investments, joint ventures, fund formations and recapitalization.  Mr. Connery advises investors, developers and property managers on real estate joint ventures and regularly serves as outside general counsel to growing, middle market companies.
