Chad E. Burgess

Chad’s practice includes the defense of medical malpractice, hospital liability, products liability, premises liability, and auto dealership compliance claims, along with a diverse array of personal injury cases. He has lengthy trial experience successfully defending physicians and their practice groups. He is also experienced in alternative dispute resolution including mediation as well as binding and non-binding arbitration. And he has settled multiple cases for clients who were seriously injured in motor vehicle accidents.

Prior to and during law school, Chad worked as a second-generation firefighter/paramedic and was an adjunct faculty member at St. Petersburg College. Outside of the office, Chad enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and son, playing hockey, and traveling.
