Hill Ward Henderson Elects Four New Shareholders

Hill Ward Henderson is pleased to announce the election of four new shareholders: Andrew E. Holway, Justin J. WallaceNicole D.D. Walsh, and Trae S. Weingardt. This election now brings the firm’s number of shareholders to 72, of 115 attorneys.

Holway is a member of the firm’s Construction Litigation group. His practice focuses primarily on representing owners, general contractors, subcontractors, building code inspectors, and sureties in litigation and arbitration. He is well-versed in handling construction defect disputes, payment and lien foreclosure actions, complex commercial litigation, and post-arbitration award judicial proceedings including actions to confirm or vacate arbitration awards. Holway is an active member of the Construction Law Section of the Hillsborough County Bar Association and the Florida Gulf Coast Chapter of Associated Builders & Contractors. Holway received his J.D. cum laude from Florida State University College of Law and his B.A. from Colgate University.

Wallace is a member of the firm’s Corporate & Tax group. His practice primarily involves federal and state tax planning for business transactions, including the tax consequences arising from formation, operation, ownership, and sale of C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, and limited liability companies. Wallace also works closely with developers and investors in real estate transactions, including investments in qualified opportunity zones. Wallace received his B.S. from the University of Central Florida, his J.D. magna cum laude from Florida State University, and his L.L.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law. 

Walsh is a member of the firm’s Personal Injury group.  She represents clients in defense of product liability and tort claims, as well as premises liability and personal injury actions. She also represents automobile dealerships defending cases on sales, F&I and advertising practices. Walsh’s practice affords her extensive experience in both federal and state court, as well as arbitration matters. Walsh received both her B.A. and B.S. cum laude from the University of Florida and obtained her J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Florida College of Law.

Weingardt is a member of the firm’s Real Property Litigation group. He represents property owners in Florida whose properties have been valued in excess of its fair market value. He also assists businesses in procurement matters and bid protests and was previously involved in representing major tobacco companies in individual smoking and health litigation. Weingardt received his B.A. from the University of South Florida and his J.D. cum laude from the University of Florida College of Law.
