Overview

Jon Jennewein's practice includes institutional lending, real estate development, like-kind exchanges, and leasing work.

For over a decade, Jon has represented several major lending institutions in numerous loan transactions. He has also represented lending institutions in transactions involving the purchase, development and sale of retail branch sites. On multiple occasions, Jon has represented syndicates of lenders in major projects of $100 million or more.

Jon has also represented clients in rural state development projects throughout the state. He handles like-kind exchanges under Section 1031 of the Internal Revenue Code. He represents developers on major leasing transactions for industrial, office and retail projects. In addition, Jon has experience in sports law, having worked on the development and leasing of sports venues including Raymond James Stadium.

Jon also remains involved in the community, working with many youth organizations including the YMCA and Little League youth sports. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing and boating with his wife, Allison, and their four children, Hayden, Sarah, Paul and Nathan.
