S. Katherine Frazier - Shareholder

Katherine is a Shareholder in the firm’s Real Estate Group and she also works with the firm’s Corporate Group. As a Board Certified Real Estate Attorney, her practice focuses on various types of commercial transactions in both the real property and business areas, including land acquisition and development, leasing, financing, title insurance, and general corporate and business law matters.

Katherine has actively represented automobile dealerships, with a particular emphasis on dealership acquisitions and dispositions and related real property transactions. Katherine has represented a NYSE dealership group in the acquisition of a portfolio of 32 dealership properties with a purchase price in excess of $200 million.

Katherine’s practice also involves assisting significant owners of real estate, as well as national and local development entities in their real estate matters. She serves on the Executive Council and Executive Committee of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar.

In 2012, Katherine was appointed by Governor Rick Scott to serve as a Board Member of the Florida Transportation Commission. Duties of the Commission include review of major transportation policy initiatives submitted by the Department and making recommendations for major transportation policy to the Governor and Legislature.

In 2015, Katherine was selected as a finalist for the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Business Woman of the Year Award.  Katherine was also awarded the Berkeley Preparatory Alumni Association 2015 Alumni Service Award. 

As a fourth generation Tampa attorney and third generation Florida native, Katherine is active in several local civic, charitable, and social organizations. She is a member of the Foundation Board of Directors of the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute. Additionally, she serves as the Foundation’s Co-Chair for the Foundation Partners Committee. Katherine is a past president of the Board of Trustees of the Henry B. Plant Museum and a past president of the Board of Directors for Champions for Children (formerly known as The Child Abuse Council).
